Write Up 9: Pedal Triangles Script
What is a Pedal Triangle:
Let's say that we arbitrarily pick points ABC in the plane to make the triangle ABC. Lets see this triangle below:
Now we can pick any arbitrary point P any where in the plane. See image below:
By extending the line created by the sides of triangle ABC, we can drop perependiculars from point P to the line created by each side of triangle ABC. See image below:
Now by connecting the points R, S, and T, we have created a new triangle RST. This triangle is called the Pedal Triangle for Pedal Point P. See the Pedal Triangle below:
